1. Scope
All deliveries and internet services provided by Alver World S.A. under www.alver.ch (“the website”), are governed by the following general terms and conditions of sale. By placing an order the customer acknowledges having read, understood and accepted them without reservation.
Alver World S.A. accepts no alternative conditions put forward by the customer. Alver World S.A. reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions at any time by publishing a new version on this website. When placing an order, the customer shall be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions as published at the time of the order.
Furthermore, by using the website, the customer agrees to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Alver World S.A. encourages customers to read these carefully before using the services provided on this website.
2. Registration
When placing an order on the website, the customer can register and open a personal account. However, the customer can order without creating an account; the data provided will only be used to manage the order itself. Whatever the method of placing an order, the customer must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data provided during the ordering process.
If a personal account has been opened, the customer is responsible for keeping their data up-to-date. Only people who have reached the age of 18 are entitled to register.
The customer agrees to keep their chosen registered personal password strictly confidential and not to disclose it to third parties. The customer assumes full responsibility for the use of their password and all orders placed, even without their knowledge, using this password.
The customer may at any time request to stop receiving advertising in connection with Alver by sending an e-mail to contact@alver.ch or a letter to Alver World S.A., Consumer Service, Route de la Petite Glâne 20, 1566 Saint Aubin, Switzerland.
3. Orders
By placing an order, the customer commits to purchasing the products ordered in accordance with our general terms and conditions. For each order placed through the website, a confirmation e-mail is sent. Until written confirmation has been issued by Alver World S.A, orders placed through the website do not constitute a binding contract for Alver World S.A.
The price and description that apply to the product ordered shall be those provided on the website on the date of the order. If a product that has been ordered cannot be delivered, the customer shall be informed accordingly. Alver World S.A. reserves the right to refuse any order exceeding the price of CHF 1,000.
Alver World S.A. reserves the right to refuse any order in particular if payment has been blocked by the customer’s bank.
4. Delivery
Orders shall be delivered to the address provided by the customer. Responsibility for the goods is transferred to the customer upon receipt by the carrier, the Swiss postal service. Postage costs apply for orders under CHF 25.
5. Checks and returns
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the quantity and condition of the goods on delivery. If goods are missing or damaged, the customer must file a complaint with Alver World S.A. and the Swiss Postal system within 7 days of delivery by sending an email to contact@alver.ch.
Before returning any goods the customer must write to contact@alver.ch. Unless if otherwise agreed, any postage or other fees are to be borne by the customer and the payment shall be credited to their personal account on the website.
6. Prices
Prices stated on the website include VAT, as do delivery costs. Alver World S.A. reserves the right to adjust prices and delivery costs at any time.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is to be made before goods are delivered, either by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or by PayPal. Credit card data is encrypted for data protection. Goods shall be delivered to the address provided upon receipt of payment.
8. Right of withdrawal
The customer is granted a right of withdrawal during 14 calendar days after receipt of the goods. The deadline is considered as met if the customer hands in a written cancellation note by email or letter within the deadline to:

The revocation does not.require justification. Exercising the right of withdrawal will result in the contract being reversed. The customer must return the goods to the return address specified by Alver S.A. within 14 calendar days. Any payment already made will be refunded to the customer within 14 calendar days after receipt of the revocation, provided Alver World S.A. has already received the goods back.
Alver World S.A. reserves the right to demand appropriate compensation for damage, excessive wear or loss of value due to improper handling and to deduct the impairment from the purchase price already paid or to invoice the customer.
Alver World S.A. reserves the right to deduct incurred expenses, shipping costs and fees from the purchase price already paid or to invoice the customer.
9. Liability
Without limiting the scope of these general terms and conditions, no claim whatsoever for missing or damaged goods, failure to deliver goods, or any other claim may exceed the purchase price of the order in question. Alver World S.A. shall in no way be held liable for any indirect or accidental damage whatsoever (even if Alver World S.A. knew or may have known of the emergence/possibility of such damage) resulting from or relating to its products, their use, their sale or this website.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. The place of legal proceedings is Vevey.
